Grace Breaks the Chains

Meet Our Team

Founder & executive director

After working in the corporate world, managing people and business for 20 years, Tina felt a calling to work with at-risk children. After two years of exploring what that would require of her, both her sons set off on their military careers; leaving Tina with no excuse. She answered the call by giving away all her possessions and moving in with her first group of children as a relief houseparent at Boys & Girls Country in Hockley, Texas. While working at Boys & Girls Country, Tina earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in Human Service Management and eventually got her Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) license for the state of Texas. Her career for the next 14 years took her on a journey that gave her some wonderful, yet challenging, experiences working with a variety of different types of children. The common denominator seemed to be that they were all hurting from something – neglect, abuse, adjudication, etc. Her experience working with sex trafficking victims affected her in such a way that she has committed to opening a campus exclusively to cater to the unique needs that go along with these children. Emerging Grace Ministries is a program designed to work exclusively to heal the hearts and transition these children from victims to survivors.
